Technically Mine is a romantic, quick read full of heart ache, overcoming pasts, and rich characters. The heart wants what it wants, and even when you try to deny it, it eventually takes control. Passion blooms in this tale of love and wanting a home, the fragrance of roses lingering in your mind. Will you be able to put it down? I couldn’t.
Nora decided to travel after she found her fiance with another woman, one he just married. Lost and unsure of herself, she finds herself helping out her cousin by taking an open spot as her assistant. Her first meeting with her first ever client ends up being awkwardly delicious, and sparks fly from the beginning. Can she deny Gabe what they both want? Will she give in? Can she even trust another man after being hurt so thoroughly?
Gabe is rich, but lacks love and a home. Wanting somewhere warm to live in, a place that looks and feels alive and loved, he hires a designer to make his dream come true. Five designers later and on the brink of giving up, he meets Nora and suddenly everything he never hoped to dream of is coming true. Can he trust himself not to hurt her? Can he convince her he truly cares?
The characters in this book all have distinct personalities and voices, leaping off the pages with their wit and confidence. They control the story and captivate the reader, leaving you unwilling to put down the book even for a minute. Quick and engrossing, this is a story you’ll find yourself enjoying from the start all the way until the last word has been read.
Overall, Technically Mine is a quick, engrossing read full of lovely characters and a rich romance that warms your heart.
